| Responsabilitati | We are looking for a strong motivated DW/BI Tester for an undetermined contract within the Data Services Test Team. Job Summary: The Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence / Data Warehouse Analyst organizes and leads efforts associated with data analysis, data quality improvements and functional testing of large business intelligence and data warehouse enhancements projects. He/she will apply knowledge of data analytic and business intelligence models to routinely solve complex business problems. Participate throughout the entire software development lifecycle, including planning, estimating, reviewing requirements, impact analysis, and performing the testing efforts. This position interfaces with cross-functional teams to manage defects, compile test results and communicate issues, risks and status on a timely basis to ensure the solution meets business requirements. Responsibilities: 1. Participate in testing including Functional Testing, Results validation, Regression Testing, System, Integration Testing, Automated Testing and User Acceptance Testing. 2. Communicate with the data services team (business analysts, data architects and developers) regarding the status, issues and risks on a timely basis. Identify, mitigate and drive project issues and risks to resolution. 3. Analyze data trends, draw conclusions and recommend direction as it applies to defect resolution. |
| Cerinte | Minimum Requirements: 1. 3 or more years relevant work experience in Quality Assurance, Data Warehousing / BI, ETL Testing and / or data analytic. 2. Strong working knowledge of SQL Server (complex joins, data modeling, data mapping, PL/SQL development skills are required) 3. Knowledge of ETL testing process including Type1 and Type2 changes 4. Knowledge of relational, star schema, dimensional data models 5. Strong DB experience and experience in testing and reporting on the BI platforms 6. Knowledge of Software testing processes and automated tools, with an ability to apply software testing methods and techniques in a DW / BI environment. 7. Ability to effectively and professionally communicate, both orally and in writing, while also articulating and translating technical language to non-technical customers 8. Exemplifies teamwork and serves as role model, while also successfully facilitating collaboration across multiple functions 9. Consults with the teammates to identify all facets of an issue and generate a solution.
